Eat Well Workshop integrates the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education modules into food education. The Eat Well Workshop is designed for participants to learn about food from field to table, solar oven design as well as composting food wastes to enrich soil. Through a series of hands-on activities, participants will deepen their understanding about our connection with climatic change and how to ‘eat well’ to make a difference.
Highlights of the Eat Well workshop
- Acquire an understanding of how climate change challenges our future food supply
- Enquire the appplication of renewable energy and the concept of äppropriate technique" through a Solar Oven Desing activity
- Tracking carbon footprint of food from “Field to Table”
- Cooking Together 1 to learn how to reduce our carbon footprint by making good choices
- Discussing various stakeholders in the society in promoting carbon neutrality through role playing

** With verification from the school/ organization, the fee for Eat Well Workshop will be waived for participants from low-income families.
