"On the path of Permaculture" Sharing event
On 13th April 2025, we are delighted to host a sharing session with Ellejana, a permaculture teacher from Taiwan, to learn about her path and perspective for permaculture development.
Ellejana completed the teacher training certification course of the Blue Mountains Permaculture Association of Australia in 2018 and visited different ecovillages around the world. In 2015, she and her partner Parama established a base at Taitung in Taiwan and founded the Pugu to organise permaculture training courses and experience activities. Being a mother, Ellejana is concern and committed to develop permaculture education for children and teacher training.
You are invited to join the sharing session with Ellejana and explore permaculture together.
About Permaculture
Permaculture movement was initiated by ecologists Bill Mollison and his student David Holmgren in the 1970s. By integrating the principles of various disciplines including Earth Sciences, Ecology and Agronomy, permaculture is rooted in three ethics: Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. The world “Permaculture” is coined from “permanent” and “culture”, which explains the intention of its design principles and practices for the sustainable living.
