Green Hub Open Day returns this fall!

The Old Tai Po Police Station was not only the office but also home for officers in the old day. After more than a century, the original police staff quarter has now been transformed into a low-carbon guest house. Its unique architecture and beautifully designed garden have attracted numerous wildlife residents. This heritage now becomes a hub promoting sustainable living. We cordially invite you a wonder day out with your family at the declared monument and explore the connection with nature through the multiple senses experiential activities and rediscover the significance of "home".

Green Hub Open Days in 2024:

**Admission to the Green Hub is free, the opening hours are 10:00-17:00, and the last admission time is 16:30.

Please note that the Green Hub will have crowd control arrangements when necessary. Visitors can pre-register on the Green Hub website: https://www.greenhub.hk/tc/booking/visit

Programmes are free of charge and open for walk-in visitors.

Our market vendors are sustainable living advocates, offering ceramic artwork, organic skincare products, and handmade designs. We encourage mindful purchasing to foster a resilient collaboration between producers and consumers for sustainable living.

Heritage Tour

The tour follows the Heritage Trail, with a guide pointing out the key architectural and ecological points of interest, and narrating the story of the Old Tai Po Police station.

"Whose Home" Treasure Hunt and Exhibition

Explore the revitalization project of the old Tai Po Police Station, focusing on harmonious coexistence with nature. Visit the exhibition and borrow our ecological exploration kit for free to discover various wildlife habitats.

Discover the history and significance of the trees at the old Tai Po Police Station. Learn about the interesting story of trees and their role as homes for many wild animals. Welcome to visit the exhibition, and experience the interaction with our loving trees.

Enjoy cooking demonstrations featuring traditional family dishes or snacks. Visitors are welcome to share their home recipe and a story related to food and memories.

Embark on our carefully designed mindful walking trail to slow down, appreciate beauty, and enjoy every moment with nature. Take small steps towards mindfulness.
